Enjoy the show but perspective on relationships please
Long time supporter of podcast, very much appreciate the narrative approach to the outdoors. I have to make a comment on the most recent episode though; I was very much looking forward to the episode entitled “do couples who ski together, stay together?” - and I enjoyed the story and it peaked my interest on Portillo, Chile. I realize those that make the podcast are in a very different stage of life and the couple was very lovely but as a married mom of three small children trying to balance family life with demanding full time job and maintaining myself as an outdoorswoman/athlete - I was flabbergasted that the title referred to a newly married couple still in the famous honeymoon phase of their marriage…it was lovely to reminisce of how we all were when we skied and climbed together at that stage of life without a care in the world but was expecting to hear how a couple had used skiing to face some of the long term and testing challenges had used the outdoors to keep them together as a couple. It was nice to bring in a different element to these stories but a broader perspective on range of life experiences/time in life would be nice next time. Thanks so much.

I planned to listen to this casually as I did the crossword, but I just found myself staring at the speaker, fully engaged and eager to hear what happened next. It's engaging, super fascinating, and informative. The kind of podcast that you can't wait to talk about with friends. So good!Read full review »

I loved the debut episode! Intense story told brilliantly. Can't wait to hear what the rest of the season has to offer. The only thing I'd love to see in future episodes is some more survival advice. There was more advice about how to stay warm in the wild and survive the situation in...Read full review »
