Description
Many adults with ADHD especially in the workplace have challenges speaking up for their wants and needs. In this episode Dave goes through some of the differences in how we speak up. Specifically, understanding that being assertive and aggressive is very different. And as you might imagine, being assertive and tactful, is the most effective way to express our needs in various situations. But if we don't speak up to our coworkers, leadership and our clients, many of us can have our wants and needs discounted and not met at all which only leads to feeling burned out and disrespected.
