“I just want to express my true appreciation for “The Bible Explained” podcast. It dawned on me not long ago that what I needed was to find a podcast that sought to read God’s Word in small parts and explain them in a relatable, interesting way. I tried a few different podcasts and knew immediately that they were not what I was craving—some were read in theatrical voices, or only read the Bible without explanation. As soon as I heard this one, I was hooked. I look forward to the day when I walk into God’s presence and meet the heroes of the Bible—I want to know their stories in a meaningful way. This podcast is one of the tools I will use to accomplish this. Yes, we are plugged into a church family and faithfully attend, and yes, both my husband and I grew up in Christian homes with a solid foundation, plus graduated from a Christian university (Corban University in Salem, OR). But what I wanted was the daily connection to God’s Word in a relatable way. I listen every morning on my walk—and on the weekends I listen back through older episodes.”
