“I wish the hosts would have introduced themselves and how they are related to each other and their relationship to Hindi cinema as (I think?) young Indian-Americans. I’m always looking for new Bollywood podcasts in English. Bollywood Is For Lovers and Khandan are the two best for sure…there are unfortunately a couple of very cringe ones put out by non-desi Americans.
Otherwise this one feels like a couple of other now defunct gossipy podcasts by young Desi people in the diaspora. And that’s a good thing. I just wish they had a bit more structure to their episodes and tried to talk a bit more to their audience and not just to each other, if that makes sense.”
