Maddy has spent her adult years searching for her creative outflow, always moving from one endeavor to the next. After successfully creating and running a children's clothing company for five years, she began to travel with her family to the southern parts of the United States and Florida. Spending a lot of time there, she fell in love with the slow, southern culture and hardworking families, leading her to write The Hennessey Ranch trilogy. Writing was a dream she never even knew she had until she began the journey, and the story of straight-laced, responsible Kate and bad boy-turned-cowboy Nick flowed from her effortlessly. Currently, she lives on her little piece of land with her husband and three children. She is working hard on finishing book three of Hennessey Ridge by the end of the year, and she can't wait to share it with the world. In her free time, she enjoys reading (of course), growing veggies and fruit on her property, is a major foodie who does yoga daily just for the peace of it, and is always listening to some form of music.
