In this lesson of Sūrah Al-An’ām, verses 74-83, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf focuses on the story of Prophet Ibrāhīm (Abraham) and his argument against idol worship. Ibrāhīm’s journey toward recognizing Allāh’s oneness is highlighted, as he rejects the worship of celestial bodies like stars, the moon, and the sun, realizing that only Allāh, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, deserves to be worshipped. The passage showcases Ibrāhīm’s steadfastness in monotheism despite the opposition of his people and his firm reliance on Allāh’s guidance.  The verses conclude with Allah affirming that true security and guidance belong to those who believe in His oneness and do not associate partners with Him, elevating the believers in rank through His wisdom and knowledge.
