In this episode I speak to Dave Taylor who has completed more projects in the hobby industry than we’ve had hot dinners! This is a marathon podcast clocking in at over 2 hours and thats simply down to the diverse and interesting journey that Dave has been on during his hobby life time. From discovering the hobby, to working within it, to moving countries because of it Dave has had an amazing ride so far and it was a pleasure to ramble about it for a while.
Dave is possibly a peripheral figure for us schmo’s that engage in the hobby from our side but internally he is a big driving force that connects cool people doing interesting things with us as the hobby nerds. I always find it tough personally when I like something and want to mention it as the term ‘influencer’ or whatever has an association that I want to avoid like COVID-19 but I feel Dave does a great job of making us aware of things without slapping us round the chops with it.
It was fun talking to Dave and he is someone I have the utmost regard and respect for because of he is demeanour, openness, and the intent of his operation. I hope you enjoy the show.
