Listen now
Description
In this episode, we speak with Ahmed Tobasi, leader of The Freedom Theatre in Jenin refugee camp, Occupied West Bank. Ahmed shares his journey from growing up under occupation to becoming a political prisoner and later, an artist shaping a new generation through theatre. The Freedom Theatre has been a hub for creative resistance since 2006, making Jenin a center for groundbreaking Palestinian art. We’re also joined by Vibeke Harper, a Norwegian conceptual artist based in Oslo and Ramallah. Together, they explore how art can be a powerful tool for resistance and liberation in the face of occupation and colonialism. https://thefreedomtheatre.org/ https://www.theculturalintifada.com/
