“Excellent, I loved every minute of this story, it kept me listening regularly into the night. Beautifully read by the author and I loved the characters and the detail, it took me back to growing up in the 50's and 60's. I too remember the cold winters, the frost on the inside of the windows and the bloop-bloop of the paraffin heaters. As kids we had to trudge through the snow to our local DIY shop to get the gallon cans filled up. My first car was a secondhand Ford 100E with a side valve engine, I seem to remember it cost about £80.
I look forward to a sequel.”
