“Like the title says, this podcast is well-researched, but it is wrought with a particular sort of bias. The host assumes that “reputable” organizations, such as the government and academics, don’t lie, which is absurd and not what you want from this genre.
It’s not that the host pushes any particular viewpoint on listeners; it’s more that he approaches most scenarios with the sort of arrogance that only comes from thinking one is smarter than other people.
Someone may be intelligent, but it doesn’t help one’s image to scoff at someone’s viewpoint or insult it. The host does a great deal of scoffing, and after half a dozen episodes, I simply couldn’t take it anymore.
To make matters worse, once again, the host tends to assume that whatever claims are made by powerful or established sources must be fact. He lacks an open mind.
I just don’t like his attitude.”
