Not useful and lots of shaming
I was so excited to listen to this podcast! But I’m curious why spend so much time shaming parents and assuming we are operating from a strict and rigid approach? Why not instead consider that if a parent is here it’s bc they want to do the best by their child and break generational trauma? Even if this is a parents starting point, no one can learn through shame. And beyond that, most of each episode is spent on sharing what people are doing wrong rather than sharing what people can do right. It’s just not helpful sadly. I love learning and am dedicated to supporting my HSC. But I will keep searching for resources where the focus is on teaching rather than condescending.
