Lacks Understanding of Traumatic Triggers
I have listened to this podcast for a while and have found them to be very helpful and enjoyable, however I’m pretty disappointed by the last podcast I listened to. The podcast #53 she covers content that is extremely triggering of those who have suffer sexual assault. There was no discretion when covering the topic, warnings, or professionalism when bringing up the topic- she just went right on to read the whole question with all its details. This just shows the lack of respect and understanding those in the medical profession have for assault victims once again. I am now struggling through flash backs and panic attacks. Thankfully I was listening to this with ear buds and not on full volume in my kitchen like I normally do with children around.
