“Myself and my boys have been through some real struggles in our lives over the past few years and are now trying to reclaim our ‘normal’. Behaviours are the biggest struggle and I am not consistent with consequences. I often feel so guilty that I don’t follow through or act on behaviours like I should. I’m a single mom who works full time and the guilt is real. So hearing Ginger talk about consequences and approaching it with love- helps me stick to it. When the boys obey and listen to me the day goes from yelling and stress to joy and love. I want more of that, and so do they. Following Ginger’s suggestions on how to approach a situation with calmness has been life changing in how my children respond. I remind myself now as much as I do my boys to keep Jesus in our hearts.”
