A great example
I just listened to Episode 24 and I heard you (Katy) say when correcting a child who is whining not to mirror what they are doing. I have an example of when I did do that and it was effective. My 2-year old daughter would often throw a tantrum (down on the floor kicking and screaming) when she did not get her way. At church, grocery store, dropping her brother off at pre-school, etc. One day when we were at home in the kitchen, she went into one of these tantrums and I ,at my wits end, threw myself on the floor and started kicking and screaming. She stopped, mid-tantrum, and just looked at me. I stopped and asked her if she could see how silly that was. From that day forward she never had another tantrum….at least not one where she threw herself on the floor.

My friends and I love these podcasts. Using Gods word to teach our children and train them up using the Bible. It’s practical, easy to follow, biblical, and God honoring. Thank you Ginger and Katy!
