At church, grocery store, dropping her brother off at pre-school, etc. One day when we were at home in the kitchen, she went into one of these tantrums and I ,at my wits end, threw myself on the floor and started kicking and screaming. She stopped, mid-tantrum, and just looked at me. I stopped and asked her if she could see how silly that was. From that day forward she never had another tantrum….at least not one where she threw herself on the floor.
