Life changing for a young mom
As a young, first time mom I went into parenting very unequipped with very important life lessons that mothers of later ages have had the chance to learn. My first daughter is almost 3 now and I am 21, for the past year I have been exploring the idea of “gentle parenting”. I immediately knew that the form of discipline that my fiancé and I had been using (spanking) was very damaging in so many ways, I felt extreme guilt and knew I had to change and that change had to happen now. It took me a lot of convincing to get my fiancé to try not spanking. I had so many more mess ups after I initially learned that spanking is abuse, bottom line. I’d get so frustrated that is yell, cry, do timeout for situations that could be handled much more effectively, etc.. it wasn’t until I had a life changing experience when I first read an article, written by this women, that I felt like I actually have complete control over the situation with my response. I also felt like I finally had someone who could walk me through the tantrums and reassure me that what I’m doing is so much healthier, I needed that so badly. After that first article I immediately downloaded a podcast app and followed this women. Now I’ve deleted all social media and I only listen to podcasts, this has changed my life so much. I am so thankful for the time that this women takes to help other parents who are trying to move towards a better form of parenting. This women has been absolutely life changing for my family.

Only suggestion I have is that the show notes should include all the info mentioned in the podcast. Like website links and resources Mamés. Etc.
