“P&R is my favorite show (my daughter’s 1st birthday was P&R themed with a waffle smash cake and all) and I have been waiting for a rewatch podcast. However, the hosts have missed what makes the show so special and what fans and what potential newcomers would find worthwhile about tuning in. The lack of preparation/research, over emphasis on how so and so’s character is different, lack of recognition for amazing guest actors from the very start, and clear poor “recollection” for the show is so sad (yes Leslie Knope’s mother was on the show during your time on the show Rob Lowe). The show is disorganized and functions better as a broad sweeping reminiscence of the show rather than a rewatch and dissection of each episode by episode. They certainly are not bringing any new audiences to the show or keeping the interest of devoted fans. I strongly recommend the hosts listen to/reach out to their friends from the West Wing Weekly or other rewatch pods from the Daniels/Schur universe (office ladies, good place) to learn how to produce a good show or just abandon the project and let someone else take over as it is not fair to fans.”
