“I really tried giving this podcast a shot but I honestly just can’t anymore. While it’s awesome their parents support them, we don’t have to hear them every episode. Their parents offer nothing to the podcast except talking about sports or off the wall questions that don’t really even make any sense. While she states that she is a super fan of P&R, Hannah often struggles with something as basic as a character’s name. The 5 star reviews are not genuine as they come from family, friends, and the constant begging at the hosts for the 5 star review for a chance for them to be read on the podcast. Very little of each episode is actually dedicated to talking about P&R. They spend more time talking about random stories from their life, they talk about Northwestern University more than Andy Bernard talks about Cornell in The Office, and there’s so much talk about Hannah’s time on Survivor that it might as well be a Survivor podcast. Lastly, the guest stars are nothing. They offer nothing to the podcast but time. The first guest star to the podcast spent all her time talking about her life as a politician and major advertising for her book. Her interview spent maybe 5 minutes actually discussing the show. It was very clear that her appearance was nothing more than a book ad. To sum it up, this podcast is basically just talk radio with a quick blurb about Parks & Recreation.”
