#88 Nadine Buckland, CEO - Zenzic Capital.
Description
With over two decades of advisory and investment experience Nadine co-founded Zenzic Capital in 2013 with Tom Lloyd-Jones to provide a range of structured financing solutions across the UK and Europe for single-site and platform level funding covering acquisition, development and opportunistic scenarios.
The team have financed over £1.25bn of real estate and asset-backed transactions across the alternative sub-sectors including logistics, PBSA, BTR, hotels and leisure. Prior to founding Zenzic, Nadine held insolvency and transaction advisory roles at Horwath Clarke Whitehill, RSM Tenon and Baker Tilly.
I sat down with Nadine to discuss a broad range of subjects which covered some of the following topics:
* Early career moves
* How she got into real estate
* Zenzic Capital’s evolution
* Personal cost / risk of setting up a business
* Building a high performing team
* Raising Capital
* Opportunities in the market
* Juggling CEO & home life
Oh, and one last question - who are the People, what Property, and in which Place Nadine would invest should she have £500m of equity at her disposal.
