Description
In the 6th episode of the season, Mia McCarthy joins Chloe to talk about her career as a photographer and startup co-founder. Initially getting her start in high school, Mia quickly started defining her unique visual identity through her work — and people in the industry took notice. At just 15 years old she signed with IMG Models Worldwide as a photographer. Once a USC student she started freelance working on an array of projects from product shoots to more editorial-style work. She set her photography aside when she went on to co-found Handle — a venture-backed food delivery service (listen to our episode with the past CGO of Handle HERE to learn more). Although seemingly unrelated, she has been able to leverage her “scrapiness” and creative thought processes to start a successful business. Tune in to the full episode to get Mia’s perSPECtive!
