Chris Stark is Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee. He was previously Director of Energy and Climate Change in the Scottish Government where he led the development of Scotland’s approach to emissions reduction and the energy system transition. Established under the UK’s Climate Change Act in 2008, the Climate Change Committee is an independent, statutory body that advises both the UK and devolved governments on emissions targets.
