“The host’s unpleasant voice, coupled with his rushed delivery and condescending tone, mar an otherwise interesting podcast. I had to check that I hadn’t accidentally sent the podcast to play at 1.5 times the normal speed. Plus, the speaker’s jokes fall flat every time.
When, oh when, will podcasters recognize that, in an audio medium, attention should be paid to the tone and timbre of those doing the speaking?”
