“Horror podcasts generally aren’t very good. It’s very easy for them to come off as incredibly narmy and amateurish. This is true for the horror genre as a whole, but non-visual forms of horror can really struggle with it in particular. This show isn’t perfect, but it’s way better than a lot of the other ones you’ll find. I’ve genuinely enjoyed listening to it, even if one or two stories have made me roll my eyes at parts. It’s legitimately creative and inventive so far, and isn’t just retreading old ground. It definitely scratched my itch for scary stories!”
