Dom Starsia has loved lacrosse ever since he first held a lacrosse stick -- and the sentiment is mutual.   Coach Starsia was recruited to Brown University to play football, but when he touched his first lacrosse stick as a freshman he felt something special. Two years later Coach gave up football to devout more time to his first love — lacrosse. Flash forward past wins, loses, championships — Coach Starsia lives in Charlottesville and coaches the Blue Ridge Barons — they are 0-2 and getting better — and when he can, in his 70’s, Coach still plays lacrosse.
