Bet this will be you’re weirdest review...
Hey Justin, my name is Lacee. I found out about the podcast through Instagram, and have been listening since the middle of this summer. I don’t always listen to the episodes as soon as they come out, but I catch up when I can. I personally love it, because I am a first-generation pilot who’s only experience within the aviation industry is my two years of flight training. I started right out of high school in 2015, and just got my first job back in San Antonio working as a flight instructor. This podcast allows me to hear and learn about different aspects and avenues of aviation throughout the industry as a whole, and develop a more overall picture as I advance from a greenie within my career! Here’s the strange part I mentioned — although I’ve been listening for a while, I was finally spurred to write a review after listening to the latest episode (28) while getting mouth surgery! I had to get a bridge made for my front tooth as a result of an accident that took place when I was a child, and I listened to the podcast for most of the procedure! 😂 I know it sounds so strange, but I was extremely nervous and anxious about the operation, but didn’t want to pay extra to have them sedate me. Listening to the podcast gave me a way to occupy my mind, so I didn’t have to think about what was going on in my mouth! I just closed my eyes, listened to the podcast, and it was over before I knew it! This episode in particular was absolutely perfect, as I’m an aspiring military pilot myself. It was great to hear Greg talk about his experience in the military, and especially about his progression through the training. Not many military pilots seem to talk about that! So anyway, keep doing what you’re doing! Love the content, and thanks again for keeping me occupied with my favorite subject (aviation!) while I was stuck in that dentist chair! If you ever make it down to Stinson (KSSF), or even international (KSAT), let me know! Instagram username: @lacee.law

This podcast is an excellent idea. I love hearing about others who are passionate about their aviation jobs and how they made it thus far. It's very encouraging to those who are just getting started or to others who may be feeling a bit "burnt out" from flying. Keep the fire burning!...Read full review »
