“Melissa,
I wanted to thank you for your latest episode that talks about the sick calf. We only have pets but do buy our beef, chicken, turkey and eggs from our local farmers. So I’ve been following you for a couple of years for gardening and cooking wisdom. Yet I wanted to listen to this episode as this week has been tough. Our first family pet, a tabby cat named Tiki, who lives both indoors and out decided not to return home after 18 years with us. I know it’s what animals sometimes choose to do but I’m struggling with not being with her as she took her last breath and being able to say goodbye. The scripture you read at the end of your episode truly touched my heart and helped me process our loss. Thank you and God bless.
