When things go well in life, how do you respond? Are you in danger of growing self reliant, complacent, or careless in the faith? Are you in danger of taking grace for granted? David was. David fell to this temptation and experienced the grace of God’s discipline to wake Him up. Nearing death, he cried out to the Lord and his prayer was heard. This is David’s song of thanksgiving. May it become our song as we remember how the Lord changes our weeping into dancing and turns our sorrow into joy.
