Davide, the creator, and Erika, who ocassionally co-hosts the podcast, have fun conversations on a wide variety of everyday topics, that are suitable for any Italian-language learner with a decent grasp of the language. The conversations are genuine, honest, impromptu and make you feel that you are chatting with friends. Any time an advanced Italian word or idiomatic expression comes up in conversation, Davide does a fantastic job of explainining it in a simple manner to make sure that listeners can understand and follow along. Some podcasts have full transcriptions available on the PodcastItaliano site, while others that are not transcribed, still have notes with advanced words and expressions, which is very useful. If you have any interest in improving or maintaining your Italian language, you should definitely give Podcast Italiano a listen!”
