“Sigh…the recent guest Alok is a poetic evangelist for an ideology that seeks to eliminate women and girls as a protected sex class. Like all gender ideologues steeped in Queer Theory, the goal is to dismantle the “oppressive” and “heteronormative” categories of male and female. His social media content is overflowing with hyper-ideological postmodern queer Theory presented as if it were the ultimate Truth. The world of queer Theory is vast and incoherent, purposefully designed to create chaos (by obfuscating language) and disrupt “binaries” it considers to be evil i.e., male/female, adult/child etc. But if you follow that logic to the very end there is only one question left: how can you protect women and girls as a sex class if the definition of “women” and “girls” is not based in material reality? Answer: you can’t.
The problem is not about being gender non-conforming. Most of us, by definition, are gender non-conforming. I don’t care if a man wants to wear a dress and mimic the most superficial and exaggerated stereotypes of femininity- I don’t care if he uses made up pronouns or descriptors born of his particular belief system. I’m concerned about a coercive ideology that, even when encased in pretty language with a social justice flair, seeks to erode critical protections and boundaries around women and children. Sex is real. It’s not a “weapon of mass destruction” (eye roll) to be concerned with the real-life implications of an ideology determined to erase sex-based rights. I guess it’s hard for people to believe that someone who says the word “love” a lot could be ensnaring people into such a distorted ideology. The guest is articulate, charismatic, and gifted at using deep spiritual truths mixed with social justice jargon to distract from and deceptively reframe the very serious issues at hand.”
