“Consider me your average sports fan. I’ll watch an NBA game, completely clueless as I’ve never played basketball. Yet I’ll sit there and ask “why did they do that?“, or “what were they thinking?”
I’ll never ask again, because clearly I don’t know. On the other hand, Evan and Andre break it down in such a way that it’s completely in depth, yet also palatable and understandable to the average fan. Great insight, great references… Sure, I don’t understand them all, but I love that they entertain each other… and completely respectful of the game, the players, and everyone involved. And that’s not limited to the court, but also the mindset off the court and between games.
They also use the same formula when delving into other subjects. They lay out the facts, their perspectives, without getting overly preachy or opinionated.
I am on the Le Batard network all the time, yet only stumbled across this because I was on a long drive and had exhausted everything else. Now it’s moved right to the front of the Meadowlark lineup. Kudos gentlemen! Keep up the great work.”
