“Mike Slater is unique in that he is the only political talk purveyor that ties in biblical faith with current events. “Nothing is new under the sun”. He weaves his current day topics with biblical stories (with context) like a fine tailor. One his favorite Bible verses he’s often quoted is Philippians 4:8. Read it and you can see how people of that time also struggled with with which wells to draw from to fill their souls. It’s a timeless struggle and that actually gives me and my family comfort when I read verses like these and listen to Mike’s contextual storytelling.”
