“With one host doing the research, the other learning with the listener, this podcast is quite enjoyable, while each episode also has plenty of actual historical information. Places each pope in their historical context, and takes time to explain the various heresies and church councils. At times somewhat silly, yet through all that, a fair amount of substance.
It would be nice to have an accompanying website, with resources for various popes, and indeed the portraits used for that small part of the rankings.”
