Funny and informative
Once I ran out of History of Byzantium episodes, I started looking for some other chronological narrative history I could listen to at bedtime. Pontifacts turned out to be terrible for that because it makes me laugh too much! But I love the show anyway. Bry’s enthusiasm for the subject is infectious, Fry’s byplay makes the show lively, and their chemistry together keeps you engaged through centuries of old white dudes getting Mad On The Epistlenet.

What an entertaining and interesting way to cover the Popes and their history. I laugh a lot and feel like I'm eavesdropping on friends. Keep up the great work!Read full review »

There is an effort to relay pertinent information to those interested in this topic. However, the style of delivery is immature with sophomoric humor; Just as they described in their introduction
