“Similar to Tom and Giften, I’m 30ish and grew up reading and watching Harry Potter. I’ve found their podcast an amusing way to relive the series when I don’t have time to commit to reading the books all over again.
I enjoy the amount of detail they get into, the interesting tidbits they add here and there, and the entertaining ways they poke at the plot holes/inconsistencies in the storyline. They are very clever and I’m impressed by the (sometimes off the rails) tangents they get on, and Giften’s laughter is very contagious.
The Dumbledore hate is real. And justified.
Definitely not for the delicate! I’m looking forward to their take on the super angsty chapters later in the series and hope once they’re done with Harry Potter they continue and dissect another beloved series from my childhood/teenage years!”
