The pandemic is not over
I love this podcast and have been following for years. But I think NPR cares about DEI and every time any of the hosts and guest hosts refers to the pandemic in the past tense (it’s not over, there is a surge, the global emergency was declared over but not the pandemic), you exclude and gaslight the disabled and vulnerable community that must care about the ongoing pandemic b/c if not it can cost lives or create further disability. And we are big podcast listeners! Marginalized communities are especially negatively impacted by pandemic denialism & minimization. Please change course.
