It’s the Annual Community Cup Pop Queers Challenge ahead of the Reclink Community Cup this Sunday, 19th June!
The Reclink Community Cup is an annual charity football match between musicians, team Rockdogs, and media industry staff, the Megahertz! The match will feature live commentary, live music, and plenty of great food. Funds raised from the event support Reclink Australia who promote the accessibility of arts and culture.
Representing the Rockdogs is their coach Kylie Auldist! Auldist is the lead singer of the The Bamboos and a hugely successful solo artist. Stick around until the end of the show to listen to her hit single Is It Fun remixed by Richard Earnshaw.
Representing the Megahertz is Bobby Macumber! Macumber is a stand-up comedian and veteran of the Melbourne Comedy Festival, who has played both Cricket and AFL at the state and national level. You can catch Macumber live on 3RRR for Breakfasters, 6-9am, Monday to Friday.
Keeping the scores this week is special guest, and host of Afterglow on PBS 106.7FM, Lyndelle Wilkinson! Wilkinson will be joining the action this Sunday as the official live caller of the Reclink Community Cup.
Also making a special appearance is Mega Mum and host of Radio Marinara on 3RRR, Bron Burton!
