I’ve always wanted a podcast like this to exist!
…and I just found it! I really appreciate their take on rom coms (I just listened to Sleepless in Seattle) as they make me feel validated in my criticisms of the expectations they set for women. The rescue mentality, the idea that stalking is ok , etc that are seen as “romantic “. Ugh. I know the movies are just supposed to be funny, but I do think they do a lot of harm… esp to women. I don’t like being told I’m not romantic. I just have a different idea of what romance is (And it Durant involve stalking or expecting someone to rescue you from yourself). A good rom com is so good, and a bad one just makes you feel gross. But I digress. I’ve only listened to a few, but so far I’ve enjoyed them. Not crazy about the sponsors -but you do what you gotta do to make it work, and not hard to skip them. Look forward to hearing more! I’d love you to do Sense and Sensibility. Obviously a book, but the characters provide sooo much to talk about:)

If you’ve ever wanted to get into the minds of your favorite characters and have more...Read full review »

As a fan of the character in the comics you managed to sum up the character of Wolverine perfectly. I know it is just comic but growing up I related to the character in the comics because he survived so much hardship and kept going. I went through my own emotional abusive relationships, so Logan...Read full review »
