Good Chats / Unique Coverage
This podcast delivers on its promise to cover the “kinda geeky” details of modern conflict. Mr. Hanrahan is an entertaining host, and does a nice job allowing his guests to inform the audience, without (too much) peripheral commentary. At the same time I like the chatty dialogues about the stranger and more wild stuff covered. PF also covers a variety of local issues not widely covered in mainstream outlets, such as the Zapatista movement in Mexico and fringe Anarchist groups in Greece, and you CANNOT talk about that type of stuff without alienating one group or another, or demonstrating some level of bias (same with all news), so take each episode for what it is -one person’s individual take, tinged with the host’s. So if you want more info on a particular event covered, use a variety of sources to get more info and nuance -as you should with any single media outlet. I look forward to downloading this pod each time a new episode airs.

Really like the subject matter and tone of this podcast. Fascinating and heavy on detail, but still cool and charming. Keep up the good work!

Enjoy listening but the audio is really quiet, the littlest bit of noise drowns it out
