Description
Today’s episode, I have the delight to be chatting with first-time mother, Jordan. Jordan’s experience in the hospital as a practicing midwife was described as shell-shocking. She had an innate understanding that many of the procedures performed on women were more harmful than helpful, which led her to choose the path of birthing her baby at home, where she felt safe and comfortable. When it came time to conceive her first child, she eventually sought out fertility support. Absorbing all the resources on undisturbed physiological birth, combined with her midwifery knowledge, gave her the confidence to embrace her unique path.
Today, she takes us through the boundaries she set to keep her birth space sacred and her experience with cervical shock syndrome.
