“I think Rowling is actually fighting for women’s rights and how the new age & radical trans movement are fighting against the erasure of women in many spaces. It’s fine if you don’t agree. Since you don’t agree with her values, why still base your work on her and not step away completely and say ‘I don’t align with her views. Hence, I am stepping away from her work and do not wish to capitalize on it’? It’s very easy to sit and whine about her being a transphobe when you are equally responsible for promoting her work.
