“The crew in this podcast are very obviously having fun while playing in this D&D campaign! The characters are thoughtfully created and David utilizes an interesting fighter build that gives great mechanical support to the narrative of a battlefield commander. The party is kind of forced together with not much really binding them together or them choosing to join forces, but that’s kind of inconsequential as it’s D&D and you need a party. Corrin and Ander came up with a great way to overcome an early character death that introduces a new PC with compelling motivations and connections with the rest of the party. It’s not a perfect game and I find myself thinking I would do things differently, but the imperfections show the awesome process of collaborative storytelling among friends using the tools in the D&D TTRPG system.”
