“I grew up in an IFB church for 25yrs My experience wasn’t as much traumatic as some of the guest featured. That’s what I keep trying to tell myself. I thought my church was different and we weren’t like those other baptist churches ( the ones that make the news) but the systematic abuse is the same, sexual abuse hidden and masked away. After listening to a few guests stories it’s like the veil was pulled back and everything was clearer than it ever has been. Honestly sometimes I have to stop the episode and come back. But it’s been an incredible part of healing. Thank you Eric”
