IFB Survivor
I just found your podcast today and listened to the episode with Karen Kroft. I felt very triggered on the inside and the feeling of pain and hurt came flowing on the inside as I listened to her. I was under the leadership of a graduate at Oklahoma Baptist College. I have been healing from being involved in the IFB for 17 years. I raised my children in the IFB church and school. Our family left in 2014 and the journey that I have been on has been the hardest work that I have ever had to do. Recovery from the IFB is such an unraveling. Stories like hers just validate how I always questioned, but could never just leave. It’s a twisting on the inside that is so hard to explain to others. I will be listening to the other episodes and my hope is that I will find some more healing and validation through these stories.

One piece of advice for the host (which is why my rating is 3 stars)- please prepare your questions before your interview-...Read full review »
