Disappointed
I’ve listened to two episodes and wow, the language used in these podcasts is really disappointing. “Fat” and “pudgy” are not a words you should be using surrounding pregnancy. Furthermore, if you have listeners with any history of eating disorders this is terribly triggering. Some more awareness around natural birth would be recommended as well. Felt very biased and discouraging for me. The UK encourages natural home births because it promotes low risk women to have healthy labors in an environment they’re comfortable with, not because they have no hospital beds. I suggest more research on the benefits of natural vaginal births for your audience that doesn’t gravitate toward medicated births. I also suggest more positive language around body image and birth and more encouraging guests.
