“When I first found this podcast, I was so excited! I thought it would be the perfect thing to listen to weekly as my pregnancy went by. I liked how they use the term partner instead of husband or wife, but often noticed that they would then refer to a partner as a “he”. Finally, I reached the tipping point at Week 23 when I saw that the entire episode was about “Will He Be a Good Dad?“. This is so incredibly exclusive to many parents, and quite honestly made me feel uncomfortable listening to the rest of the podcast.
I think that the worst part is that it is put out by Parents Magazine… apparently, it should be called Straight Parents Magazine. If you are not in a heterosexual relationship, don’t listen to this podcast.”
