“Brilliant. Incisive and passionately conveyed, but it’s quite ambitious taking a stab at such a long stretch of history of Palestine, that sometimes it risks making serious omissions - Like the episode that touches on the dynasties that ruled the moslem world, the Seljuks, Fatimids and Ayyubids were omitted to support a thesis that only families from Quraishi lineage ruled the Arab / Moslem world until the arrival of the Ottomans. The podcast is at its best when it delves into micro histories of Palestine. Since the start of covid, I have been following a number of superb podcasts about historic Palestine, my homeland and my love. This podcast certainly fills a gap.”
