Could be better
For one thing, it’s a podcast about history - why do you insist on using the present tense when talking about the presidents of the past? It’s really off-putting. I’m sure it was an editorial choice to make the listener feel like they are getting to know each president personally, but by not using the past tense, you come off as a bit amateurish. Second, I think you’ve done a good job of finding interesting ways of presenting the presidents. Calling Monroe the Forrest Gump of presidents was a good way to capture his ubiquitousness. Third, maybe you were going for a relaxed feel, but the sound quality and editing could use some cleaning up.
