“I have no doubt that John and Amanda left to their own devices wouldn’t have been able to carry out any sort of attack. They were young, addicted and too wrapped up in their own world. John is clearly looking for someone to act as a father figure. Amanda just wanted to do what John wanted. This whole thing was totally manipulated by the undercover officers. You can hear the couple’s hesitation and see their total lack of commitment. At best, they talked big but they were never going to follow through. They were bullied and Pushed into it.”
