Killer storytelling if you can handle the twisting story arcs!
Hilarious group, great role-playing from all and great story-telling from Zach. The only knock on the podcast is the circuity of the plot; the group has countless challenges and strange occurrences thrown at them over and over, leading to them dropping older unsolved mysteries to deal with the pressing situation. As a result, there isn’t a general rising action, climactic conflict, and resolution, like some other actual play podcasts have. But if you love the horror and modern sci-fi/fantasy genres and role playing games, it’s fun to come along for the crazy ride these cops go on, no matter how wild and off the rails it gets!

This is the first podcast that I’ve ever opened my wallet for. The chemistry is great, the story is great and I really look forward to each episode being released. Thank you for pretending to be people, PTBP!

Imagine X-Files meets Lovecraft meets Nightvale except the agents are pretty terrible at their jobs. ...Read full review »
