“Tiffany is cool, relatable, and definitely works to be informed. I appreciate that.
She is still a product of her age, however, and it shows (skeptical, somewhat jaded with institutions and traditions, concerned with being “authentic” and “relatable”).
She can tend to go on uninteresting tangents and I think her podcast would be more enjoyable if she had a little more structure. I also like Tiffany the most when she is sincere and isn’t worried about “caring too much” or about being self-aware. I think young people (myself included) can tend to be a bit too self conscious of showing genuine emotions and enthusiasm without providing a caveat like “I know this is cringey” or whatever.
Previously Gifted is usually what I listen to when I am doing something else, so I don’t have to pay attention too hard. I mean that in a good way! I always listen when i work out! It’s super enjoyable for that. Tiffany is an great host(ess). I would really enjoy her with another guest—I think that would bring out a side of her that would be refreshing to listen to.
Overall, this is an refreshing and easy listen.
