The radio voice of the Maple Leafs, Joe Bowen, shares his early thoughts on the team as Toronto returns to the ice tonight against the Sabres in preseason action (6:48); then at the bottom of the hour YES Network analyst Ken Singleton joins Jeff Blair and Scott MacArthur ahead of this weekend’s Blue Jays-Yankees series (28:45). After Ken, the roundtable assembles as Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi and Postmedia’s Michael Traikos join Jeff and Scott in-studio for the next two hours. In the first hour, the panel goes in-depth on the Maple Leafs and Mike Babcock’s comments on Jason Spezza (40:03) and the Blue Jays as the season winds down to a close (1:12:26). In the second hour, the roundtable reacts to the breaking news of Antonio Brown being cut by the Patriots (1:29:41); and re-visit the National Hockey League in the last segment, notably the questions surrounding the Winnipeg Jets and Thomas Chabot’s new eight-year deal with the Ottawa Senators (1:55:26).
